Personal Accident Insurance
PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE provides 24 hour worldwide cover and offers a lump sum payment in the event of accidental death or permanent disablement when an accident prevents the insured from engaging in his/her usual occupation.

Notes:
- Children of age between 16 to 20 are eligible for Option II only and must be insured with one of their parents.
- The above premium is applicable to persons with occupations or professions involving clerical or administration works.
- Policy is not applicable to persons residing in Hong Kong for less than 180 days in a year.
* Subject to percentage of sum insured listed under the actual policy.
** A levy of 0.1% on premium shall be imposed. The above premium does not include levy.
EXCLUSION
This policy does not pay compensation for the following :
- war, terrorism and kindred risks
- nuclear weapons, ionisation and radioactivity
- suicide, intended self-injury
- pregnancy or childbirth
- any kind of sickness or disease, venereal disease or AIDS
- influence of intoxicating alcohol or drugs
- engaging in service or duty with disciplinary services or any armed force
- engaging in aviation other than as a fare-paying passenger
- engaging in activities like parachuting, hang gliding, hunting, ice-hockey, polo, winter sports, any kind of race (other than on foot or swimming) or trial of speed or reliability, potholing, mountaineering or rock climbing necessitating the use of guides or ropes, underwater activities necessitating the use of compressed air or gas, motor cycling (as driver or passenger), sports in a professional capacity
- cosmetic or plastic surgery or any elective surgery or congenital anomalies
